This is done by providing a list of recommendations and their corresponding guidelines, which include a brief description of the condition, an overview of the disease, an outline of the management and therapy, and a list of additional resources, such as tools, and recommendations for the most common disorders seen in cardiovascular medicine.
The ESC POCKET GUIDELINES app also provides healthcare professionals with access to an interactive tool, which is the ESC POCKET GUIDELINES mobile calculator. It also provides access to a comprehensive atrial fibrillation (AF) and atrial flutter (AFl) risk score, which can be used to determine the need for anticoagulation therapy.
